With a background in law enforcement and electrical engineering, the founder of Summit Video Security, Markus Klett, worked in the vehicle dynamics systems (ABS, ESP etc.) industry for many years before making a switch to the video security industry. With the desire to provide absolute integrity, dependability, top quality equipment and installations, as well as the best value for customers, he decided to start his own video security company in 2004 in Summit County, Colorado. After his wife developed asthma in the thin dry air of the Rockies, they decided to move to a better climate and settled in Baldwin County, Alabama in the Summer of 2022 and are liking it very much.
